About This Project

Laminated glass is best known for being used on the front of most cars in the world. This universal use can be reduced to what happens when multilayer glass is broken.

When crushed, the laminated glass is in place and will not break into large pieces or hundreds of small pieces. Instead, keep it long enough for you to find a replacement. This is thanks to the plastic layer (polyvinyl butyral) that is sandwiched between two sheets of glass during production. It sticks the two plates together like glue so that even when the glass breaks, the pieces are attached to a thin film.

Its highly functional safety feature greatly reduces the risk of damage from falling glass. Its highly functional safety feature greatly reduces the risk of damage from falling glass. In addition, since the plates do not come off the impact, the laminated glass is not perforated by intruders and thieves. Laminated glass also has excellent UV resistance and excellent sound insulation.

Several types of laminated safety glass are made that can withstand specific attacks. These include explosion-proof glass, fire-resistant glass, bullet-proof glass and laminated solar-controlled glass.
